Their artwork is about the parents’ openness. Parents could plan and choose when to have children, but parents cannot choose what kind of children they would have. Children cannot choose who their parents are. Children cannot determine which family they were born in. Children cannot determine whether to be an only child or how many siblings they would have. Parents only give birth to children but not actually create them. It doesn’t mean that parents completely own the children nor have a power over their children way of life someday.
